Where can I get a new tank prop?

Ok, so I seem to have lost my tank prop. Anyone out there know the part #?

You mean your bike came with one from new! All Australian models certainly didn't.

Take a 10" and a 6" 3/8 socket extension bar and snap them together. Now add a 4mm hex socket to male end of your two extension bars. The hex socket just fits through one of the bolt holes in the front of the tank. The female end fits into the hole in the adjusting nut on the top tripleclamp. This will hold the tank higher than the cheap factory prop.

My 02 did not come with the prop (or the clip to hold it). I have two different length dowels, each with a peg in the end to secure them in the triple clamp. I use the longer one during topend disassembly with the bolts at the back of the tank loosened - gets it up high enough to remove the rear valve cover.
