He has (or at least *used to*), Leo Vinci highmounts. I have the same pipes in my bike.

What do you want to know?

Scott :)

I just picked up the streetfighter exhaust and would like to not wake the dead when I come home from work at night. So the question is, how do you make a muffler muffle more.. I dare you to say that 3 times...lol I looked on the 2 Brothers site and didn't fine any mention of "Quiet Tips"... Any other suggestions?

Ahhhh... The sound of a Race-piped Open Class Twin... :smokin:

Small animals cowering in fear as you pass...

Lovely accompaniment of children crying, and car alarms blaring to boot! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/embarassed.gif ALT=":o"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/embarassed.gif ALT=":o">

Still... not nearly as bad as a straight-piped Harley

:rollin: :rollin:

I gotta tell ya, the Leos aren't going to be much quieter. Though if you really wanted, they could order a set of EU approved cans from Europe for you.

You might give www.renegade-exhausts.com/ (http://www.renegade-exhausts.com/) a look. They make a baffle for their pipes that you may be able to fit into the Aprilia cans you have. My understanding is that it can also be removed on demand. If I'm not mistaken, Staintune also have a similar deal for their pipes.

Hope that helps!

I bought His Leo Vincis high mounts last year. He modified his Falco with a full Mille exhaust. He sold his bike so I don't know what he is going to fix up next. FYI

I purchased Tom's bike. Is there any thing I can help with?

I really liked the bike with the vinci's on it. I may go back with them. Right now I am running the vinci titanium for the mille. Not loud at all in my opinion. As a matter of fact, all I can hear at 130mph is the intake. Oh yeah, due to Toms intake mods and the awsome intake air volume, the top of the tank is caving in! NOT!!

Tom's a handy guy: He cut his oem airbox apart, and did the McGuyver routine under there with some heavy duty weather stripping. He actually went so far as to use engineer's bluing to ensure a perfect seal all around. For the air filter he found one that's taller than the OEM one and jams up under the tank. I saw another guy do a similar thing, but he drilled a small hole in the bottom of the tank for a post and aluminum cap to hold an OEM filter in place.

here's Tom Caplian's site: www.caplan77.com/default.html (http://www.caplan77.com/default.html)
