an 08' with only 2K mi. and $3K worth of Olins, cans, CF, Renthal bars, Evo slave etc. sold for 8k; he tried for 2 months to sell for 9, then 8.5K.

That's a unbelievable price but look around I think this bike is priced pretty good compared to what else is for sale on this forum.

Right now, many people are trying to hold onto as much cash as possible so the pool of potential buyers is low. You will need to advertise beyond just this forum to get what you need. Most people here already own aprilias, and they know the nature of that particular market. You are also competing with many zero mile non-current inventory motorcycles at dealers so you have to keep that in mind when pricing.

i can buy an 08 tuono r candy red at scuderia west with 0 miles for $8900 in san francisco i guess it is a great price.

You should consider going back to stock and selling the parts, you will def make more money. All those parts don't necessarily make the bike worth much despite what you paid for them and what you can sell them for. I'm sure some of us would be willing to call dibs right now on some of the parts, I call belly pan and handlebar :).

I would prefer local sales on most of the larger items but I'm really really considering parting it out. BTW the bike is back home in eastern PA about 45 minutes north of philadelphia if anyone is interested in local parts.
