I'm looking for a perfect profile shot of the Rotax 990 engine (used in all the 1000cc Aprilias). A line drawing/diagram would be PERFECT but any side view picture will work fine. If anyone has one or know of where I can find one I would really appreciate it!

I can probably snap one off of my spare engine in the closet unless you're looking for something a little more not real life.

I was testing out a new lens...used the engine on the engine stand as a subject, hope this helps!

If I didn't have such a good avatar already then this pic would be my new avatar.

I can do way better than that! That was just a hand held 1/60th second shot with a 28mm f/1.8....and the flash. Maybe I will remember next week to try a good shot of that motor from each side, and move it to a better background too.
On a tripod, with no flash and the same lens but a little more light it would be "crisp" and the background quite blurred.

That's the New V4 not the 990 V2. Nice find though

Yep, no flash and some daylight (early morning or late afternoon) would make that a killer shot. Would love to see an updated pic.

As you wish sir, I even got out the good tripod and used a remote for these.
Glad you guys like these, feel free to whatever you want with them.
