Ok all, I have been working with the Aprila Forum at http://www.apriliaforum.com/. I set up a listing of my previous post on Craigslist for the Falco and got some real good feed back. I have adjusted my price accordingly. Please do NOT take this as a soft price. It is a GOOD price and I intend to stick VERY, VERY close to it. That being said, here is the information from the listing.
I am parting with an Aprilia Falco SL1000R with 16.8K miles. I have enjoyed owning and riding this bike for the last two years. I originally purchased it from my brother in TN who bought it from the original owner in NH. He shipped it to me in CA in 2006 and I have been thoroughly thrilled with it ever since. The bike is in pristine condition as you can see and it has NEVER been dropped. The bike is, for the most part, stock. The main exception, and it is a BIG ONE, is the Aprilia Racing Carbon Fiber exhaust system. When I first heard it, my impression was a Harley on Steroids. It has a very respectable V-Twin sound that just sings to your soul. The power band is smooth with quick, responsive delivery. The bike also comes equipped with a remote paging alarm system keeping you connected to your bike even when your not there.
For user feedback on this bike, take a look at the Aprilia Falco forum. These guys are more loyal than NASCAR fans, and for good reason. You will find a strong mechanical base there supporting the craftsmanship and durability of the Falco power plant as well as the racetrack inspired looks and performance.
If you are a serious buyer with an appreciation for superb ITALIAN bikes....contact me.
Otherwise, thanks for looking.
