Hi guys and girls
I am looking to buy a 2000 mille which has done about 3500 mile I was just wondering how reliable they are and if it can hack everyday use ie commuting about 120 mils round trip every day:bond:

very reliable bikes. some issues with clutches on pre 01' models......other than that a great bike....read thru the forum and you will see what i mean

:) I just purchased an 00...it had 1200 miles on it....mint condition...I have ridden it 900 miles...its awesome...needs heli bars...Im 6-3....needs tires...(the dragon evos are slippery) and I love the bike....nuff said...You wanna buy mine?

I puchased a '00 with 3500mi on it last February. It now has nearly 12,000 commuting every day without a lick of problems.

only problem was the water pump oil seal, common on these. Never a problem with the clutch. 13,000 miles. I did install heli bars and a corbin. I wish I did the seat sooner!

If you get a 2000 get the 2000.5 has a few more goodies. I got 12000 miles and the starter clutch went bad cost 1200.00 and a few months in the shop which Im not thrilled about.

Well since Gidimille is from the UK, the bike he is asking about actually IS what some people here in the US consider a 2000.5 model.
