Here is a video clip of me following my buddy around NH International Raceway (aka Loudon). He was riding my Mille as I follow on my 600RR. It was his 1st day back riding after totaling his Mille at Pocono East and breaking alot of bones...so we were going at about 75%...but it was still fun :-) Man I hate winter in New England!
I also want to thank Brian for hosting the clip....

Pretty cool. I spend a lot of time at Loudon. I'm really getting bike horny now and looking forward to the track opening in April.

The camera was mounted on the front hugger. We'll have to get you to take a ride up this way. Alex, (you met at BeaverRun...bike #100) puts on two private track days at Loudon each summer....I will send you info when I get it. I have a 3 extra bedrooms, you can crash at my place and ride up to NH from there if you want....
Steve T
Yeah alot of walls and trees.....I have eaten the tires in turn three and hit the wall in turn two last summer alone....maybe I shouldn't ride Loudon, lol

I noticed that you edited out turns 1, 1a, and 2. Turn 3 is definately a bitch. All the crash vultures hang out on the bleachers there. Its still a fun track though.

I made that clip in a hurry. i actually have about 30 minutes of video from that day. i cut turns 1, 1a and 2 out of that clip only because i was trying to have a short video with someone in front of me at all times.
i love turn 3 myself. i was a little late on the brakes once and did a summersault over the handle bars when i hit the tires. i landed on the next row of tires and my bike stayed upright...lol.

Ha, ha, ha . . . . Ya think?
I was full on with the brakes with the back wheel starting to lift off the pavement, thinking I was just barely going to make it into the righthander T3 . . . and then you FLY past me on my RIGHT . . . . I just remember thinking "where the f*ck does he think he's going?!?!"
LoL!!!

Yep . . . I remember looking over my left shoulder as I went through T3 and seeing you upsidedown in mid air, and again I was thinking, "Damn nice dismount, now lets see if he can nail the landing!"
Sure in sh*t, your ass landed right dead center in a stack of tires! If I remember correctly, the judges in T3 gave you 9.8's across the boad for style and degree of difficulty . . . .

Hell yeah, I have not missed one of Alex's Loudon days yet!! I know of no other track even where you can get more saddle time than Alex's track days. In addition, I don't know what it is about Loudon, but I love that place. I just think it's a great technical track.

Ha, ha, ha . . . Loudon is where I draw the line. That's when the divorce papers get drafted . . . I can see it now, "State Reason For Divorce: irreconcilable differences, failure by wife to allow husband to participate in track days, especially Loudon track days." I hope I get a sympathetic judge . . . . LoL!!!

Turn 3 is challenging with the pavement transitions. I still haven't found an easy line through there. Its fun watching the Gixxer 1000s highside coming up that hill in 4.
I still love carrying speed through 1, 1a, and 2. Its a fun old school track. I like flying by Rainey's divot in turn 9 where he crashed.

Hey Smoke
You'll have to come and join us at my buddy's track day. He has been renting two days a summer at Loudon for the past 8 - 10 years. he only lets 38-40 bikes sign up and you get a lot of ride time.
What kind of lap times do you run there?

Nice camera work, what type of editing software are you using? I have a decent camera and will mount it up this season.
Beaverun is my home track, but TPM isn't offeing much time there so I may be signing on with STT. I'll hit another tack this season (probably Mid-Ohio) but haven't considetred Loundon, what the overall opinion.

The camera was my buddy's. We just mounted it on my bike for about 10 laps or so...
The camera is mounted on the top of the front hugger

I just did a quick video which was my 1st attempt with the videos. i just used window video maker...i have some other software but i haven't spent much time on it.....
Beaver Run is a fun track...I will probably hit it for a two days weekend with TPM this summer

Thanks for posting the vid, it brought back a lot of memories. I have'nt raced there ( or anywhere else) in 7 years, but I still find myself running that same footage through my head every now & then.
I'm looking forward to racing my Mille there this season (a little older & a lot slower). Maybe I'll see you up there (expert #287).

I've been doing all the SRNE trackdays there for the past few years and also the Star School. I try to get as much track time as I can. I'm totally addicted to it. I'm running between 85 and 90 second laps most of the time.
