I am only selling because I am moving country. I am a previous Triumph owner, but have really fallen in love with this special Aprilia edition. I bought it with 550 miles on the clock, a lady return it after 3 weeks (a bit too much for her to handle). I had it for a nice ride to Norway last summer, and it was amazing. The Aprilia Shiver’s all-new fuel-injected 749.9cc V-twin motor is impeccably smooth all the way through the rev-range, is punchy at low revs and has delivers a fair kick when you work it. The bike is very comfortable both for me and my wife, which is a great bonus for the wife. And for the Norway trip I invested in grab bars and and original Shiver windscreen, which easy to take off if desired.
The main characteristics of the Aprilia Shiver 750 are:
* 90° V twin engine with four-valve heads, double overhead cam and liquid cooling
* Ride-by-wire electronic throttle control technology with Tri-Map mapping
* Electronic fuel injection with the latest generation injectors
* Mixed gear and chain timing drive
* Three way catalytic converter with Lambda probe
* Modular steel trellis and aluminium alloy frame for high torsional rigidity
* Aluminium swingarm with reinforcement truss and lateral shock absorber
