May be it's me but my T seems to be slowing down. The throttle resonse doesn't seems as crisp and the front doesnt come up as easily.
My bike is an 07 bought new in early May of 07.
MAP 2
MIVV GP Carbon pipes
Evo filter (not airbox)
15 t front
13500 miles
It may just be that I'm used to the power of the bike but the "spark" seems gone.

Anyone had this feeling with their bike?
I have the Dyno prints from when I had the MAP done. i'm thinking about haveing another run done to see if it's chaged.

An:confused:y thoughts??

Your skills have been sharpend by the mighty north georgia mountains. Your only hope for a speed thrill is to get drafted into NASA and to land the space shuttle.....

Clean the air filter?
Bout every 2500 miles it needs it with ram air.

I know there is a issue with the old type Tuono, where there is a problem with a hose. There is a small filter? in it, what can cause some performance problems. Check item 9. Don't know if it's applicable for the T06>.

Good luck.

Mine has done 6000 miles and I to noticed a slight problem with the throttle responce, I adjusted the slack out of the cable and :burnout: we were back to normal. Hope this helps.

You may need to have your throttle bodies synced up. When was the last time you gave the bike some TLC. New plugs, air and oil filter changes. Little things go along way on a high performance motor.

Inevitably you get "numb to the power". At least that's been my experience on all my bikes. Except the T since I haven't been riding it enough.

That item is not a filter but a check valve that enhances the function of the slipper clutch. It's influence is only applicable to closed throttle situations and it will have no affect on engine performance.

Good God man I think you've hit it. I just jumped on the scale in my hotel room and it it it it it it it it said you fat fuck stop eating and drinking everything in site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! manzeer, belly belt, Sansibelts? shit maybe I should get in shape. No wonder my wife looks at me that way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just kidding but I do need to get in shape. I think it may be that I've gotten used to the bike. Oil has been changed as required. I may need a new air filter(will check that out) I dont think the throttle bodies need sync.
I cant even see number 9 on the earlier post so I'll leave that for later.

Thanks for all the responses.

By the way, last weekend a guy on a 1098 told me my bike was running great. He said that when he caught up with me!!!!:happy:

It's what you get for not having to put the thing in hibernation during winter!
Try putting it away for 4-5months then take it out for a spin....wheeeeeeeee:burnout:
Presto! You have a rocket again.

just like Chris Vermulen says, if you wanna learn how to ride fast, you've gotta ride fast! In other words - you get used to your level of riding and what the bike offers up to you - bit of a never ending process though.

Interestingly, on every bike I've had, some days I can get on it and it just seems to be going better than normal, and I get right in the groove really fast and everything is just working so well - the bikes going better, I'm going better - sweet. Most days though, I get on the bike and it feels just normal, and bets are that it's just me, although early morning runs with a bit of mist around does wonders - then the bike really is running extra sweet!

You could take the front brake lever off. That should add a little more excitement to your rides.
