The center section is a 1-1/2 inch rubber radiator hose with Uni brand coarse airfilter sheet rolled up in it. The edge of the sheet was cut at an angle so to have no gaps visible. The foam roll is centered up in the hose.

Hook it up with a clear tube to watch the oil. Interesting, as there is a lot of oil at startup and after a minute much less. ZERO oil out the top hose!! Yes!

Hook up with correct hose (7/16 transmission hose), add filter to end and test. Runs great, no oil on end filter.

I added 150cc of oil to the tank to bring my total up to 1400cc. Since the tank is now separate from the airbox it can hold more oil with no worry about getting in the airbox. It is now in the sightglass hot and cold. On my first shutdown it did not drain out of the tank much. I think because now as it drains into the sump when it sits it will cover up the hole in front of the sprocket and this air locks the tank and prevents further draining. I'm not totally sure yet if this is true but will monitor it. Also, it is interesting to note that so much oil blows out the breather on start up but Amauri stated that he has not seen it. I think this is due to the track bikes being parked on the pit stands upright and the street bikes use the kickstand which allows more oil to lay on the alternator side where the breather is. Maybe parking and starting upright would help. But my separator seems to be working even with a lot of oil blowing up the pipe when cold. the pic of the oil in theclear pipe was hot not cold. much more was there cold. Well I will continue to test and report back. The riding is becoming limited due to winter. So far I like the results!! I will need to check the foam inside the separator to make sure it stays in place and does not deteriorate.
