Powder Coating

Ok, I do not have the 1800 or more to sink into a pair of new rims for my RSVR. When I bought it, it had the stock Brembos on it, so my thought was to have them power coated. Is this a good/bad thing? Just looking for a little input. I would like them to be gold, similar to the Ohlins gold. Bike is now being painted the new Daimler Black Pearl.

Go for it. I'm having my Brembo's done in white. It's generally pretty cheap and will hold up better than paint.

to add to the poweder coating topic ,

how much is it to get u r wheels powder coasted ? will i have to sand them down myself ?

cos mine look a bit ruff
