engine swap, rx 125-cr250

hi all, im new to the forum just hoping for some advice. i have a '95 rx 125, the engine i have is a bit of a basket case and was considering a transfer. i've spotted an '82 honda cr250 engine for cheap with all electronics etc... and the sprockets the same side and everything! just curious if anyone had tried anything like this before and had any idea about engine mountings, if there a millions miles out and there's no point or if it just needs a lil choppin n welding and isn't too much hassle. any help greatly appreciated or ideas on other swaps which may be more suitable.

find a newer engine, a 1982 2stroke motocross engine sounds bad news and normally are.

but yes it could be done, might need to make some engine mounts

i didn't win the auction anyway. yeh a newer engine would be better but only if you have the funds lol. cheers for your help though mate.
