Oh bo!!oxs, wet roads, cold tyres, overbanding. Dropped the Fut this morning, 30 mph in a straight line, just touched the front brake and down it went. Now need to get the right hand panels and pannier lid resprayed. Also need both brake levers, and there's coolant leaking out somewhere up top, but I don't feel like taking everything apart right now to investigate. IXS waterproofs stood up to the slow-speed getoff, except for a hole in the right knee where something hard gave me a good prod, lovely purple knee I've got now.
Apart from the knee, a very stiff shoulder and miscellaneous sore/stiff fingers I came out of it quite well, first thought was - insurance or fix it myself? Does anyone know a plastics paintshop in the West Midlands that they can vouch for? Any guesses on prices for filling and spraying 2 side panels and a pannier lid?
