Just wondered if any So Cal riders have dealt with this dealer, and if so, what's the lowdown?

When first interested in shopping for my falco I did stop by this dealership. However.. they must not have thought I was a serious buyer and wouldn't let me have a test ride - so I walked out and went and had a test ride at Pro Italia in Glendale.
The area around Pro Italia is much nicer to have a test ride anyways instead of the stop and go blocks in traffic around Marina Del Rey.
Pro Italia also has a nice-sized mechanics' shop and the number of mechanics to work on your baby. Just watching them mist your bike with cleaning tender-lovin care is pretty nice. I do not work for either dealership btw.. just a happy customer from one of them.

I haven't had any experiance with them but I belive that LA Cycles may have just bought them within the last week, they were owned by Pro Italia. I've heard both pros and cons about Pro Italia, and they are considered to be pricey. LA Cycles can have good prices and you can get online quotes from them, but like I said they are just getting everything switched over. Good luck on whatever you decide!

My Blue '01 came from Marina Aprilia...when it was still owned by Bill Nation. I think I did okay with the deal I made...and I got the color I wanted. I made the deal at PI, and they got me the bike out of inventory from Marina...

I've become friendly with many of the folks at PI, and I really have nothing but great things to say about them, specifically their service department. Patrick and Quentin always take great care of me...and my BABY!

No opinion on Marina. Been to Pro Italia a few times. However, I bought my '02 SLR from GP Motorcycles in San Diego. Good deal...no bullshit...shop has old school feel...service yet to be tested outside of the 600mi

I am flying down to LA this weekend to buy a bike. I will be visiting LA YAmaha/Aprilia and Pro Italia and GP. I have heard great things about PI and GP any new experiences with LA Yamaha?

Thanks

I bought a leftover '02 Futura at LA Yamaha Aprilia. Got a great deal - 11 large out the door. Larry Hart, the owner, also owns LA Cyclesports and Orange County Motosports (sp?) (supposed to be the best Triumph mechanic there) in Santa Ana. Anyways, he is a true volume dealer and will give you the best price. I stopped in at Cyclesports and was amazed to see how many - (I would guess a couple of hundred) bikes in the warehouse.
I don't know about their service dept. I just took my baby in to Pro Italia for the first service, because I know they will do it right. I'm afraid to take a chance anywhere else, after having had negative experiences with south bay moto and spectrum in irvine. So, my opinion is, buy from Marina, service it at Pro Italia. Everyone is happy.

Must be nice to have so many Aprilia dealerships in such a small area. Here in Raleigh, NC I've got 1 local dealer. The next closest is 110 miles, then the next one is 100 miles further.

I deal with Oceanside Aprilia/Ducati. Thats the place to buy your next machine. They are riders and love Falco riders. Ask for Balz and tell him Beggins sent you for a great deal.
