After reading a great many posts from confused members trying to sort out the different shocks and linkages offered on Aprilia's popular big twins, I took it upon myself to build a color-coded diagram of all the shocks, dogbones and triangular linkages made for the Mille, Falco, Tuono and Futura. Now, members can reference replacement part numbers, verify which items are shared across the different platforms and see what changes were made to the suspension of each model throughout production.

I like what your trying to show, although I do find that chart a bit hard to read.

In the falco forum its always assumed that the falco and upto 01 mille have the same dogbone and triangles and therefore can take the same shock, after that upto 03 millle and 05 tuono you need to get the triangles dogbone from the same year bike to make that biikes shock work in the falco.


what I would like to know is can the later models upto 08, shock and linkage work in my older falco?

Great chart! I want to know if I can put a longer swingarm on my 05 Tuono to give it more mid corner stability?
