When are you likely to be at AFI? A mate of mine and I will be dropping by on our way from Houston to the Guzzi National rally in Malibu next week. He's an attourney and I look like this;

So be warned that it's going to be a ride that will be a bit like 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' but with bikes, more drugs and considerably more violence!
His bike will be the pretty one. Mine will be the Scura that looks like it's been intefered with by a goat :happy:. Bring the yak fat and xylophone for a bit of added fun.

Hee-Hee!
Jeez you 'Prilla boys scare easy :D.
I hope you can ride a bike better than you ride a joke. I'd hate to see advertising that said "You meet the *Nicest* people on a 'Prilla."
Looks like I'll have to bomb-can mine matt black an paint flames down the sides with a pencil and poster paint:cheers::aussie:

First, try not to be too hard on someone that looks like that. Imagine how it has been for him growing up.
Second, I rode one of the red Mana's in Seattle yesterday. It was a way better bike than I was expecting (I like my Shiver better, but if I lived and commuted in the city, the Mana might be the ticket).

I think the plan as far as we're concered is that I and the pygmy will be leaving Houston on the 18'th which is Wednesday and dropping into AF1 on the way to whatever God-forsaken desert hole the pygmy has chosen as our overnighting spot. How long does it take to get from Houston to New Braunfels?

Thanks mate. I think the pygmy has one of those GPS thingies so we'll probably end up in Florida :bump:
Oh, Mr Pilot. The Scura *should* now be a nice bike. I got Mike to throw away the stock *Grenade* clutch, had it re-sprung so it could be ridden by me rather than a bullemic cheerleader which was the only sort of person the original springs were capable of suspending and stuck in one of my sloppage sheets so I don't cook the big-ends while I'm chasing pillocks on Ducatis in California :fangs:. It also should now have a 170 section rear tyre rather than the absurd 180/190 they originally came with that made an otherwise pleasnat bike only capable of going in a straight line :mad:. This is the first Spiney I've owned. It should be a fun three weeks.

Yeah Mike mentioned that he installed the ultra trick zircron encrusted
drilled for lightweight flywheel, and some gorilla weight fork and shock
springs , the green and orange flame job on the fuel tank and embroided skulls and bones
on the seat are a particularly nice touch also !
