If anyone is interested I am offering reflective decals for the cases. The difference between what I am offering and what you can get on ebay is that these are 4 part sets. Reflective vinyl is extremely difficult to remove after it has been on for while because of the way it is constructed. The layers come off one at a time and the adhesive usually ends up staying on what ever surface the vinyl was applied. The biggest problem with our cases (or any other plastic surface for that matter) is that the chemicals used to remove the adhesive will also attack the plastic. If the decals are ever scratched or scraped then you are pretty much out of luck replacing them with out risking serious damage to the surface of the bag. So back to why 4 parts. The sets that I am offering come with a removable base vinyl that you put down first and then you apply the reflective. There by if the decals are ever damaged the removable vinyl will peel up with the reflective vinyl attached and leave no residue on the bags. I'm offering these for $33.00 a set which includes USPS delivery in the US. I can also provide the 8" aprilia decal for the lower fairing in the same silver as the 1000 in the post below for $20.00 a set and the RST1000 for $25.00 a set as seen in the post below. If anyone is interested in a package of everything I'll drop $20 off the total for $58.00 delivered USPS. PM me if your interested.

Now that I have several sets in route I figured I'd better go over installation. As mentioned the sets are 4 parts, 2 of each type of vinyl. They are marked 1st and 2nd, which is the installation order. The rear of the bags should be cleaned with a soft brush and a soapy solution. Honda Polish or similar cleaners are obviously not recommended for this. After rinsing you want to finish the process by wiping down the area with isopropyl alcohol. The liner paper and application tape will need to be trimmed close to the edge of the vinyl. Spray the back of the bag with a very diluted mix (one drop to a spray bottle) of water and dish detergent. Pull the liner from the decal and spray the back of the vinyl with the same solution. Position the decal on the bag. Squeegee softly to push out water and air starting from the center and working your way out until covering the entire decal. At this point use a similar pattern and squeegee harder. If you haven't used too much detergent you should be able to roll the application tape off of decal. If you have any bubble use a straight pin and puncture them working out the air with your fingers or squeegee. If you have let it sit for a few hours and re-squeegee. Repeat for the reflective vinyl and other bag and your done. Use an old credit card or similar for your squeegee.

Hey Bill can you do the 'aprilia' 8" logo for the lower fairing in the same silver color but make it reflective? I'd also like to purchase the 'RST 1000' logos from you.

Feel free to PM me.

Thanks,

Paul
