What is the present windshield choice for the Shiver?
I believe there is one available from Aprilia or are there others?
My dealer has four on order and am wondering if it is worth reserving a couple.

My dealer here in Vancouver wasn't sure whether Aprilia accessories would be available in Canada? Is your dealer getting OEM accessories in Quebec?

Also, from what i read on the forum, those fly screens are hard to come by, you may want to reserve yourself one. I know if my dealer could get em I would reserve one for me. Loads of people have said they would like one for the wind protection at the higher speeds...

I will e-mail him and find out if they are OEM accessories.
Kind of unsure about reserving one without seeing one.

I'm up north of Chibougamau in the bush looking after a helicopter that is not flying much. Can not even do this....:cheers:

At least you guys have options for windscreens. Im still running naked!


If anyone knows the brand of the clear one please post it up. Just maybe I could get that in the USA.

I did speak to the guy you refered me to. He said that he should have them in shortly but did not have them ready to ship when I spoke to him last week.

Did he say that yours was shipped?

They were supposed to ship from GB by the end of last week. I'm hoping to see it late next week but have not received word from the local distributor yet.

It's not a Shiver thing :). It's from a Spanish owner who was attending a meeting past december (that was some ºC below 0). He had it adapted to the Shiver, as it was a 700km trip to get there :).

i tried to order the aprilia screen from my dealer and they said i couldn't as aprilia are out of stock!
they must be hand made, really slowly!:bangwall:

That's the Dorsoduro windscreen on a Shiver. When the Dorso is available, you can check if it fits the Shiver as well. Mind you, it's an Aprilia product, so there's about 10 available, worldwide :kidding:

isn't the dorso light unit different though?
