I had a nasty surprise on my first group ride today. I was ripping down the highway at about 120 km/h, only to look down and find out the bike thought it was going 0 km/h. After a few km of this, the service indicator came on.
I pulled over and checked the bike, and couldn't see anything wrong. The other riders in my group were long gone by now, so I rode home. About halfway there my speedo came back. Service light is still on though, I'll have to get the dealer to check the code.
We've had a bit of rain the last two days, and I'm almost certain it's just water in the speed sensor connection. Has anybody else run into this?
