You decide, work of art or an abomination?

Torque did have three things going for it.
Monique Mazur, Christina Millian and Jamie Pressley. :lover:

I realize that the mirrors on bikes are usually worthless, but the right mirror in this piccie is only good for looking at her own titties... not that that's a bad thing...

There should be a law against doing that to a motorcycle.
And he wants 30K for that travesty? I don't think so. :fangs:

All that wasted time, money and energy...
He could've built a pretty nice track/ sport bike.......
I just don't get the whole cruiser/chopper thing. Maybe when I'm older and slower it'll make sense.
Side note:
Some friends and I went up to Orange County Choppers (slow day, I guess) to check out their bikes. One was a Santa Claus chopper, one a Spiderman chopper.....the rest I couldn't even tell you...I was laughing so hard , I thought they were going to bludgeon me with a sissy bar.
I just don't get it.....and the "gear" that they wear...chaps, fringes? Sorry, too gay for me. Check, please.

The bike looks like the beginning of the war of the worlds....it came from beneath us! Perhaps criminal charges are in order here.

If that was based on a Harley I'd just think ooohhhh kayyyyyyy.....
but a Ducati should never have to be embarrassed of itself like that.

I remember posting a pic of that bike after seeing it at the CW show awhile back, and saying to myself 'that was disrespectful of Ferrari, never mind Ducati.'

Maybe I don't appreciate "art" but that is revolting to look at. That guy in Escondido knows how to make a Duc chopper that is pleasing to the eye:

I'll dissent.
We've all seen worse, much worse. At least it's somewhat understated compared to most of the garish, gaudy and completely unrideable crap that sells for twice that amount and way more.
And it doesn't have fringes, bells, balls, skulls, flames, or -- what's the latest? -- a whip hanging off the throttle?? :WTF:
And praise Allah it's not an ape. Now that would really suck.

I don't know what more to say. That bike was even worse than looking at a Harley. And that says a lot.:bangwall:

I just joined this thread, and was hoping to stir the pot, but it looks unanimous.
So here's my vote:
What an ugly-ass embarrassment, from every perspective.

to know that he paid ALOT of money to destroy a 996. Imagine when he brought his new pride and joy home and showed it to friends,"Uh yeah, that looks.......different. Yeah, yeah it's a, um how much did you pay that dude to build this eyesore? I mean, it's priceless. You'll never see another one like it."
It just goes to show that money doesn't buy class.

:eek:Good gawd that's atrocious...And you bet that's a "custom" exhaust...Custom Crap...soulds Godawful...Good luck on selling that piece of crap...what a waste of time and effort...You'd've thunk that whilst they were mapping it out somebody would've chimed in, "err...I dunno, this doesnt' seem right. Is this a good idea? Let's stop/not proceed."

Not intentionally, no. But if I was forced to choose between having to pull up to a stop light at a busy intersection or into the parking lot at Mother's on that or a Suzuki B-King, Victory Vision, stretched-out, neon-lit Busa or any number of stoopid "custom" Harleys, I'd opt for that.
Yup.

I have a fair ability to finish watching any movie I start to watch - and I FAILED with Torque!!
Back to the "Ducati"
It belongs in a book called "Dream Bikes" which mentioned in it's preface:
"not all dreams are pleasant - some dreams are nightmares"
And that "Ducati" is a NightMare!!!
