I think other people have already mentioned that the instrument cluster on the
Shiver is used on other bikes and manufactures too.

Perhaps this is why? or maybe they plan to release an ABS version of the
Shiver at later date?

Who knows, maybe the cluster manufacture has just tried to cater for everyone
and everything when they designed it.

Perfect:)

I believe there is some small mention about it in the owners manual as well. I'll check in a bit..Possible mid production run or mistake...

A generic and cheaper possibility... Whom ever makes the OEM portion of that clock mass produces them with an ABS light and it's just not functional on the Shiver.

Or, it's planned on a future model. Maybe a Shiver model.

I've read they're planning an ABS version for next year. See toward the end of this article (http://cars.uk.msn.com/Motorbikes/Bikes.aspx?cp-documentid=5629619).
