I went to ride the 3 twisted sisters in the hill country of Texas......

What a blast!

I did have a few small slight issues:
My right back turn signal bulb is dead after only 1000 miles. I thought it was kind of cool it told me it was burned out but got annoying looking at the error the whole time. I went to a bunch of shops in the area even general auto shops and no one seems to have one in stock..... AF1 seems to be out till later this week. Anyone know where I can have on overnighted state side?

I would try starting the motor at random times and it seems the starter would roll but the motor would not start... So I repress the the starter and it would fire up... A small annoyance but anyone have this issue? Or know how to fix it?

this thread (http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147386) talks about starter issues. I've wondered about mine as I have what sounds like a bag of rocks coming from the lower right hand side of the engine (looks like the starter is on the bottom at the front?). I figured that it was just that the clutch was noisy but I've also had a slight weep from the base of the round piece that has the return line for the radiator (water pump?).

Not sure. As long as it doesn't lock up on me while riding I should be ok. Have roadside assistance but the downside is that my dealer is 50 miles away. I'm getting close to my 600 mile service so hopefully any issues can get sorted then.

So far I absolutely love this bike. Odd sounds notwithstanding. My Multistrada was a great bike but this one is a bit more nasty and a lot more orange. :D

I saw that thread seems liek a different issue as his is dead? Mine sounds liek it always had just doesnt start the engine at odd ball random starts, but soon as I let off the starter and retry it again it fires up?

I have had no luck finding any store that carry the bulb in the usa... I did find out its used in a couple aprilia motorcycles/scooters. So I might try calling some scooter shops.

I really would like to support af1 but would not want to wait till way late in the week when they all get back in.

The "cranking but no start" issue has happened to me once in the 2 weeks I've owned my bike. Worked fine on the second try.

I have no idea why it happened but I thought I'd let you know you weren't the only one.
