Hi everyone,
I'm looking to get a paddock stand for my Shiver to aid lubricating the chain etc.
Does anyone know where I could get one? I have tried to find an Aprilia one but their website is sh*te. Can't even find an origninal parts catalogue!
Thanks

AF1 Racing - Pit Bull Stand
got one a couple of weeks ago works great, and they get it out to you pronto.
pitbull stands best out there for the money.

but other than that....
you will be able to get one from pretty much any motorcycle dealer on the planet.
And you don't really need an expensive one just to oil your chain.

I have a cheap one from Busters, that came as a pair for something like £40. Buy the hooks that attach to bobbins, and also some bobbins for the swing arm of course, it's all pretty standard kit.

I think he's actually speaking of the cradles on the paddock stand that the bobbins are placed on when lifting the bike.

I did mean the bobbins on the swingarm.
Sorry I forgot that the swingarm came with them already. As I replaced mine with the nylon crash protector ones. My deepest apologies. I did remember after I posted, but thought people might actually realise they were there before buying some more. :)

Hey Burt,
I bought these ones too!
they work great don't they, for that money too you can't complain.
I changed my standard rear bobbins for gold ones, no suprise there for
you all.
Dan:)
Ps, check this out, I bought the gold bobbins the tank pad, Aprilia lanyard, key ring, bike mat etc etc all before I even took delivery!! how keen was I!!
my first ride on the bike was the one on the way home, my dealer delivered it to my work as there was a few problems when it arrived, that's another story and I will tell you all about it one day.

Same here, except for all the buying stuff.
But I think I bought the crash bungs before the bike.
Who needs a test ride when you know it's the bike for you anyway.
With a warranty I don't mind being a bit of a guinea pig.
At least I can boast that I had the very first Shiver in Australia after putting down the first deposit too.

(Though it probably isn't true, just one of the first. But whose going to contradict me?)

I wonder who was the first retail owner of Shiver on here??
I placed my deposit in mine in June 2007 and took delivery on the 11th
of October 2007!!
Anyone do better than that??

Not me.
Deposit 26th July.
Bike received 4th December. 2007
And then I had to give it back the next day for a few weeks.:bond:

Well to be honest I should have had it on the 10th of October but it broke down when they went
to put some fuel in it after the PDI, I ended up having on the 11th instead.
How gutted was I on that day!!

Hell until recently that's how long it took to get parts for those of us who've been on the aprilia scene for sometime! ;)
