panniers

Has anbody manged to fit soft panniers of any type to the bike,the lack of luggage capbility is putting me off buying one.not keen on tank bags and seat fitted bag not much use with pilion

I would think this cortech saddles would work for that application, I've a friend that has them on her kawi, if you don't add the top bag you can still carry a passenger.

Just as a special treat for you I will have a go at fitting my soft bags today and get back to you.
ATM I can't see why they wouldn't fit.
The plastic shrouded part of the exhaust doesn't get too hot.

Thought the shield would get hot and melt the throwovers.
Aprilia is going to produce panniers but cost will be high ones for the Falco are over £280 from memory,steep for soft luggage

I've tried them and they would definitely fit.
They only touch the triangular plastic covers and they don't get hot enough to burn skin so that would be fine I think.

And they look way better than the Aprilia items which look like they come from a different century. Hardly fitting with our ultra-modern Shiver
