I've written about it in the relevant thread on here.
And yes.
I've had it in for about two weeks now and only ever use the sport. It is the best map of any so far.
If you are nervous or a beginner then try the other two but I can't imagine why an experienced rider would ever use them.
Why buy a 750 if you want it to go like a 250? (wet setting)
or a 600 (touring).
Incidentally the dash looks better with it in too.
I find it easier to read than the black background with clear speed numbers.
I suspect that it was only black to hide the S,T,&W from us until the map came out.
But then I'm a sucker for a conspiracy theory too.

Haven't had it done yet, I tried last week to get it sorted whilst my bike was in for the service but the dealer said they couldn't install it as they didn't have the latest software for the axone system? said he will do it next time i go in.
To be honest I'm not that fussed at the moment as I can't ride it anyway! Bloody weather here at the moment is awful! I've been trying to bring my bike home since Friday, it's been dry all day and every time I put on my gear it pours down again:mad:
had to leave my bike at work again today, oh well hopefully the summer will soon be here.

My bike was serviced a week or so ago. To be perfectly honest I was surprised that the service manager wasn't aware that there had been at least two updated maps since I'd got my bike (OK they can't know every detail). I asked for the latest map to be loaded, but when I collected the bike I was told they loaded that map but weren't happy with how the bike was running, so they put in the previous map.
It is definitely far better than the first map, the bike responds far more instantly. But I would rather have been given the option of the later map and making the decision myself. However, now it does mean I have experienced the interim state.

HI Makka,
I just read your reply and I noticed you commented on the dash, what's changed? does the new 3 stage map change the background colours when it's running then? can you explain what's different in more detail, I'm intrigued now, Haven't managed to get the 3 stage map done on mine yet.
Also is the sport setting on the new 3 stage map any different to the first updated map version? Sorry if you have already answered this one in an earlier thread.
Thanks, Perfect:worship:

The only difference is that the main square section of the dash which was black with the speedo numbers in clear is now the other way around.
You also get a small S,T, or W in the top left corner just to the right of the little thermometer icon.
I was also given a printout of a new page to glue into my manual.
Hold on, URL for other thread comng up ....
nah, forget it.
You already read it and replied just below my description of the new map and an Italian magazine description of it too.
So why are you asking again?
If you wanna see the dash try this. There is a movie posted.
You may have to join up, not sure.

Cheers for the link Makka, is does look different, I'll hopefully get the three stage map done on my bike in the next couple of weeks.
I noticed the shift light on the shiver in the Video was still set at 6000 rpm, it must have been a new bike?
Perfect:)
