Hey, I've got an Aprilia rx 50 2005, with the minarelli liquid cooled engine of course..

I've got 250-300pounds to spend on performance parts..

But i want an Bike that has lots of power, but also reliablity..

and i dont wanna change the crankshaft..

What parts do i wanna buy?

Important: The bike has to last, want it to last more than 2 years

All need now is a good kit and carb. This probably be as far as you need to go if you want it be reliable.

racing dude-

you need:

exhaust (arrow are probably the best)
new jetting (to get it to run)
new sprockets and chain (bigger)
could have a new carb not rle needed imo
decent fuel - oil mixture (better to premix, so you know how much is going in)
good oil - i recommend castrol tts

mine has all of that apart from the carb, i can get 75 mph, no reason why you shouldn't

cheers

aim for a nice Low rpm 70cc cilinder (like the Black Top, Top Peformance cilinder)
They'll last as long as a stock cilinder! (new piston every 12000km's dunno what that is in miles though)
use that with a 21mm carb & manifold (preverably Dell'orto with an oil plug on it) and if possible the stock filter! if not use a go-kart filter or a powerfilter with a plastic surounding so that you don't have any trouble with sucking water or to much dust in!
Use the standard exhaust without restrictions and you will have good power, reliability & not to forget a sweet sound! (changing sprockets only needed if you keep popping wheelies all the time but i doubt it)

ps: it will last if you throw in like 100ml of oil @ a full tank extra to the premix,
changing sprockets, spark plugs, tires & complete pistons (piston & piston ring) every so now and then helps keeping up the reliability (can't expect it to just keep running with worn out parts)
