We ordered in some of these and will begin selling them.......these are the most trick levers I have ever seen.
Full billet construction, and have the roll-a-click feature with ball bearing adjustment. Available for either the clutch or brake side.
They make them in regular length and the "shorty" length shown in the picture. We have them in both silver and gold colors.
They work on all RSV Milles (except 2004), all Tuonos, all Falcos, and all Futuras. The brake will also work on the RS250.
$99.99 each....call to order....I hope to have them online in the next week or so.

The adjustability of those levers is very nice. Not to mention the bling.

I'm pretty sure those are cheaper than the stockers as they are listed here in Belgium...

Finally made it to Austin, TX to meet Ed and the rest of the guys there at AF1. Really impressed with their shop and expertise with the Aprilia products. I'm looking forward to getting my bike on the dyno with them to wring it out.
While there, Ed broke out the CRG levers. Xtra Cool levers! The workmanship is as good as I've seen on fully machined parts. I'm a sucker for quality, so I caved in for the full length gold levers. As good as they look here in the pictures, they look even better on the bike. Nice match to the gold bars and the Ohlins front forks. They may not due much for performance or handling, but they up the WOW factor a bunch. If you can drop two bills (OUCH) for levers, you'll be the envy of your biker group. I can't keep my buddys from 'coon fingering them'!
Ed also 'just had to show me' ( I hate it when he does that ) a replacement carbon fiber chain gaurd and toe kicker for my Tuono Racing. These are the last remaing body pieces that are not carbon fiber.......They are now! They are made by American Sport Bike, look great and are a close match the OEM parts.
The final assault on the check book was the addition of the billet Ohlins fork spring pre-load adjusters, EVO race air box kit and Aprilia air snorkel.
Looks like it's going to be a busy weekend in the garage. I'm glad I don't live in Austin, I don't think my check book could servive it. Now I just have to stay off this website! Yeah right.

Those puppies rock! Ed are you able to supply to the UK - I want some. Sorry to ask a stupid question but how much shorter are the shorts?

yes, we can ship to the UK......we ship there almost every day.
Figure about $15 for shipping of both leves......just order online, pick any shipping option, and I'll fix the shipping before charging your credit card.
The shorties are 1.25" shorter....great for 2-finger....maybe 3-finger action.....

Thanks Ed, my Christmas will come early this year!
Ed,
The stock Tuono has adjustable levers, however with my small hands I find that the adjuster position that brings the lever the closest to the bar is not quite close enough for a perfect fit. Do these aftermarket adjustable levers have the capability of a closer-to-the-bar adjustment than the stock items?
Thanks,
Michael

I was at AF1 earlier today and I have to say those levers are a work of art. Seriously. The CNC machining is just fantastic. The adjustment lever design makes my Brembos look bland in comparison, and I liked the Brembos up til now.
The gold levers are just a shade darker than the Tuono handlebars in bright sunlight. The anodization is striking and a real attention grabber. What isn't obvious from the photos is that the "silver" is actually a grey pewter shade. It's really nice looking too and is my personal favorite for the way it sets off my red Tuono.
My Christmas list just got longer.
:D

the stock brembo levers were held in place over the crg ones after my install yesterday.
they look to be an inch closer to the bars vs. the crg with their adjustment set at 1. so, they are farther away then stock.
the adjustment is around .100" a click/6-clicks = .500" +/-
ed, can you back this up on your end too?
the pewter shade looking lever is a "HARD" anodize where as the gold are just anodized in gold.

apex you suck. you got all the cool toys.
ApexMolester,
Thank you very much for the photos and description.
At first look, and based upon your description, I take it that the CRG levers are further away from the bar than the stockers when both are set at their minimum distance from bar setting, correct?
Just out of curiosity, at what point on the lever did you make your measurement?
Thanks again,
Michael

as i only rested the stocker on top of the new lever over the mount location.
my guess was from where the lever starts to sweep forward, away from the grip. it may be the same or a 1/4" farther.
i should have taken a measurement frist, yes i'm a dumb ass too at times. it happens with new toys in my hands....i get geddish i guess too:bitchslap
when i get home, i'll measure again unless af1 has some input before that.....
i have large hands, and the reach is not an issue for me:)

is located on the plunger shaft on the clutch lever mid-pivot, so the lever could be adjusted via a slot for flat-blade screwdriver and a sockethead-setscrew will nedd to be backed-off to allow for the fine-adjust plunger-shaft.
this is one small metric allen, and many will not have it in there tool box/kit.
it required the 2nd to the last smallest of my ball-end allen set.
you will need to remove this assembly from the stock levers, and install it into the new levers.
the brake lever assembly has NO screw adjust plunger what so ever, and will slide/fall out of its pivot location when its removed.
i did re-grese all pivot points with white grese before reassembly.
shezzz, sounds like i'm installing my 100mm pistons all over again.

When I picked up my levers from Ed at AF1, he said to put some heat on the small allen screw, on the clutch side lever pivot screw, to help break it loose. It's a 1.5mm allen and Aprilia puts lock tite on it from the factory. Heating to about 150-180 F will loosen the lock tite. This keeps you from stripping the small allen socket.:D

There was quite a bit of lock tite on mine. Blue lock tite will return to a liquid state around 160F, so heating helps to keep from stripping the small allen screw.
My final lever settings are #1 on brake and #3 on clutch. Had to go to #3 to get full disengagment on clutch.
I have small hands and like the levers close to the bars. I was disappaointed I could not get them closer than stock levers. They are now basically were my stock ones were before the swap, so there's no problem. People looking to get the levers closer to the bars should consider other manufactures.
I was also surprised that I could not remove more of the vertical slop with the pivot point bolt. I like as little as possiable. It makes the lever feel more precise. My VTX has almost none.
All in all , I'm happy with them. Just being finicky. Love the look!:D
