Team Promotion at Pocono next Thurs.? Anyone?

Hey Guys -

I was wondering if anyone was going to do the track event with Team Promotion at Pocono next Thurs. the 26th. Its the FUSA course. I was thinking of going but I'd be by myself and I was wondering if anyone wanted to go.

I ran the east course today. The management of the Pocono raceway should be embarassed with the track conditions. It is known for it crap tarmac, but it was covered with dirt today. I can't even explain how much dirt was on the track....absolutely horrible condidtions.

....enough where guys were going down....

even one of our fellow Mille owners totalled his bike today. Ben doesn't post but I met him when I was selling Renegade. He was at VIR (RichL) met him. Ben lost his front at the end of the straight in either some dirt or from an earlier oil spill that was poorly cleaned up.

His swing arm is bent, clip on snapped in half, frame clearly bent. Luckily he suffered no broken bones,but he is spending a night in the hospital and was hurting when I left...

If this is acceptable to the Mgt of the Poconos I don't know if I will be back their again.

Hey Jim

I am really surprised at that. Usually they are pretty good about cleaning the track and making sure that everything is ok before they let riders out. I wonder if Team Promotion dropped the ball or if it is the fault of the racetrack itself?
