I picked my bike up today after having the lastest upgrades/mods completed.

AJ, my master technician at Moto Corsa, did his usual stellar job. He installed the DP cams, 1098 radial pump master cylinders, the tail-chop project, and had the clutch side-case cut to open it up.

I haven't had a chance to ride it yet, but it sounds amazing. He assured me that it runs well the way that it is, but it's time for a PCIII and a custom map (we tentatively scheduled that for sometime in the next couple of weeks).

Pictures of the tail-chop will have to wait until I have better lighting conditions. He used the stock license plate light to illuminate the plate that is mounted in front of the battery.

I also, obviously, have some serious cleaning and polishing to do before showing the bike in the "Custom Sportbike" class at IMS this weekend.

He used 1098 brackets to mount the reservoirs.

I was standing at the service writing desk when AJ fired it up back in the shop area. The ground was literally shaking all the way out in the service writing area. One of the other employees told me that everyone in the store stopped what they were doing and keyed in on the sound that the motor was making when AJ fired it up and was revving it up after putting it back together and tweaking adjustments on it. I can hardly wait to ride it.

I need to figure out how to post a sound clip. Anyone tips from those familiar with the software used with JVC digital video cameras would be most appreciated.

They can do pretty much anything you need.

Here are a few pictures that I took today in better light than was available last night. There is also a picture of a Cox Racing Group Oil Cooler Guard that I forgot to mention that I added.

I added the nod to Moto Corsa on the fairing because I'm repeatedly amazed by the work that they do and the bike wouldn't be what it is without their efforts.

In this shot you can see how AJ (one of the top five Ducati techs in the US) mounted the stock license plate light pointed at the new license plate location.

I think I can be relatively optimistic about the license plate Commissioner pointed out that the other I would like to bike is a good choice

I'm just wondering about Moto Corsa installing the PC and map. Do they have a dyno now - or do they just download a map and hope for the best?

They work with Eric at EDR for PC-IIIs and dyno tuning.

Those are ProBolt (or Pro Bolt, I don't remember exactly how they spell it). You can type in "Tasty Nuts" or one of the Pro Bolt spellings and find them. I got them through Moto Corsa in Portland, Oregon.

Here's a little video and sound clip of my bike with the DP racing cams installed. I also swapped the 3-spoke Marchesini wheels for some 5-spoke Marchesini wheels. You'll notice that I still had not cleaned the tire mounting goop off the wheels. The weather here has been crap and I was going for a ride the next day, so I figured I'd just clean them when I got home from it.

I took the video during a brief break in the rain. I tried to shoot a clip earlier in the day, but the camera battery went dead just as I started to ride down the street. I wish it would have been working because it would have caught the rear wheel stepping out by about 18 inches when I turned around to ride back toward the camera. The slide induced a huge pucker factor - you know, cold tires, wet roads, that sort of thing. Hence the foot down, supermotard cornering in the video. I'd rather be teased for being chicken than for crashing on camara :burnout:

So, turn your speakers up as far as you can and enjoy. Just click on the clip to start it.

Installed a TPO Beast-R intake kit (removes airbox and uses billet velocity stacks and huge K&N pod filters instead) and a PCIII with custom map by Eric Dorn of EDR Performance in Portland, Oregon.

Here are the pre- and post-install dyno runs. About 91 rwhp and 71 ft/lbs of torque pre-install and 97.26 rwhp and 75.66 ft/lbs of torque post-install. The air/fuel curve is a virtual flat line at 13:1 with the custom map.

Awesome video clip thanks for sharing! Your PS looks great and the 97 rwhp is great coming out of that engine. I think your bike is way louder than my 999R and 1098S and I have full termis on both. :)
