I am thinking of swapping my beloved T for a Kawi ZX 14.Although leaving my T is not easy at all.
If you have any experience from the Kawi please do share and save me from my nightmares!!!

I don't like the kawa much, its fairing sucks - wind protection is crap compared to hayas or bmw k1200s, build quality very average, parts take forever to come, a friend crashed and it took 2 months to fix here in Thessaloniki. wait for the new haya first or keep the T, especially if you don't plan on coming to thessaloniki once a month ;)
I sure love my T and I don't have any probs with it coming to Salonica even every weekend.I was at Serras last August for the 6hour race and I returned to Athens non-stop (stops only for gas).
I was just thinking of making thw swap for reasons you all can understand I suppose (just want all the bikes:bump: ).
Thanks for the input Drade.

Mic, i hope this will help you mate; KEEP THE TUONO! :worship::worship::happy:
Gods, man. The Z is fugly. I don't get what the Kawasaki design department is thinking with their new bikes. The ZX14 and Connie with those pseudo Ferrarri-like lines, the stupid exhaust can on the Z1000, etc :lame:
Unless you're after a sport-touring type bike or just need huge HP, my newbie yet humble opionion is that this is an easy choice :)
It makes me think of hitting on a butter-face amazonian because she has huge .... tracks of land.

I just sold my ZX14 after I bought the T. I know it is a big personal thing, but I prefered it over the Busa. The new Busa looks a little better, but it has a weird tail section. As for the fairing and wind protection being no good.....that is bollocks. It is very aerodynamic, comfortable to ride, and has avery strong motor. I agree with the exhaust cans, they had to go, I replaced them with Yoshi's. It's low end is fairly restricted, but an easy mod makes it a beast.
I sold mine because 95% of my riding is commuting, and the 14 was too much bike for that. If you are planning on doing any long trips, or drag racing, the 14 is perfect. If you are commuting or riding tight twisties - keep the T.

Keeping the T was the plan from the start I suppose!!!

I traded my ZX14 for 07 Tuono and must say there are things I miss about it. There will always be fond memories of the ZX-14...

They are great freeway bikes! A lot of work to turn in the tight twisties IMO!

Mostly the topend rush, but it only took one of our Southern Oregons back roads on the Tuono to know that I had made right choice...
I can drive further into any corner, hold a tighter line, get a better drive out, then I ever could on the 14, also there is no way to wipe the shit-eatin grin that seems to appear when ever I'm on the Tuono...
