Well guys, this is not a happy day for me.
I've come off of two days of the worst back pain I've had in a long time. Maybe even the worst two days of back pain I've ever had. When I bought my SMR a year ago (almost to the day), I thought this condtition was just muscle pain because that's what my doctor told me. It turns out I've got 3 degenerated discs and everytime I do anything I end up agitating it. I had already bought my SMR and fell in love with it so I didn't want to sell it, in hopes my back would heel.
Up until a few weeks ago, I rode my Husky to work about 2-3 times a week. I even bought a guts seat kit to make the commute more comfortable. However, I really wanted to get out there on the track and start doing some supermoto stuff.
That is not going to be possible for a while now, if ever...
So, basically I've come to the conclusion that my bike deserves a better situation than sitting in a garage because it's owner is in bad shape. So, I've decided that there is a better home out there for her somewhere...
KBB says they're worth $5840 and NADA doesn't have them listed yet. There's not a whole lot of extras on it, but I do have some handguards and a rooster skidplate, so I'd say $5800 would be a good deal.
I have the Factory jet kit and all the original smog equipment. I'll post some more pics and more details at a later time but if you're interested let me know. I also have some Marchesinis for it but I'll probably sell those separately. However, if you're interested in those to go with the bike, I'll sell the whole thing for $7000.
I figured I'd give any of you guys who were interested "dibs" because of all the help you've given me over the last year.
I'm going to go cry now... :(

I was walking with a limp for 2-3 days after that last ride...
The Katoom might have to go too. No love lost, though. That bike is kind of a basket case. I'm more upset about the Husky. I'm not really sure I could sell it for what I bought it for unless I fix some of the stuff. Maybe I'll try to sqeeze in another ride this season but it will hurt if I do...
Come hell or high-water though, the Triumph is going nowhere. I'll have to have not eaten for a week or so before I consider selling my CE...

I guess I would like to half heartedly call DIB'S biotch's

Do you know if the hubs are the same? Will they use the correct rotors and sprockets for the Aprilias?
I've never looked into that...

Yeah, I'll see if Mason wants it. I think he's really fired up about the new KTM 690 though.
I haven't even told him I'm selling it yet. I don't want to sell it, truth be told. I just can't do what I want to do with it, so I think I need to focus on healing up and maybe in a few months (or years :( ) I can race...
Hey, maybe around X-mas we can all hook up for a ride. I'm planning on taking some time off around new year, so maybe I'll load up the Daytona when I head up there. That bike is a lot more comfortable for the old Back...

I'm gonna have to pass on them, If the were a direct bolt up I would be all over them. Good luck with your back, I definitely know the feeling, as I feel through a 10' ceiling a few years ago and after busting through the framing of the drop ceiling it spun me around so that I landed directly on my tail bone in a seated position. Now there is one spot that's not easy getting Ice to

I know what you mean about being to unhealthy to ride. Over 6 months ago I had to park my 2004 Husky TC450 due to stomach pains. I would get extremely fatigued after 45 minutes of riding and then would start making mistakes that could have ended up very bad.
I am just now getting better and will be ready to ride again this spring. Mean while, since I wasn't feeling good enough to work, I figured that I would have do something to keep me busy.
I have had problems in the past getting replacement parts for my Husky so to solve this problem I built a website called www.HusqvarnaOutlet.com (http://www.HusqvarnaOutlet.com). HusqvarnaOutlet.com was created for the sole purpose of stimulating World-Wide trade of Husqvarna Motorcycles and Parts. I want to make it easier for Husky Enthusiasts World-Wide to find what they need whether it is the newest modification or an old 1940's replacement part.
If you would like, for a small fee, you can sell your Husky bike on HusqvarnaOutlet.com (http://www.HusqvarnaOutlet.com). Your ad will be broadcasted world-wide and will NOT be removed until it has been SOLD!! A truck will come and pick-up your bike for shipment once payment has been collected. Its that easy!!
Check-out our Sell an Item (http://www.HusqvarnaOutlet.com/sell_an_item) page for further instructions on placing an Ad on HusqvarnaOutlet.com!!
