As retro goes, this new Moto Guzzi V7 Classic (http://www.maxmoto.co.uk/moto_guzzi_v7_classic.shtml) looks a nice interpretation. I might get one of these for the wife if the seat's as low as it looks.

I like it. It's tasteful and doesn't look like something from the Sci Fi channel like most bikes do these days.

MG, how about a sweet cafe racer?

Clean looking bike, much better looking than the Nevada -
now they need to go with tubeless wheels on ALL their models,
including this one,,,

Here is an alternative to consider

In early 80s I had a SR500 and my friend had a Guzzi V50 which was the only bike able to stay up in tight twisties with the SR. When we traded bikes and I left him...think about it. Low seat height and very low weight with the size of a 125GP bike (or so it seemed at the time)

I had a V7 back in the mid 70s or and I am not so sure it deserves a retro version.....actually I would take the V50 in a moment comparing the two. Why buy a new Guzzi retro for your wife when you can buy the real thing both of you will admire and love.

I spent a summer on one lane backroads in Santa Cruz riding a V50 - Loved it! I can't get over my love affair with small blocks. This new V7 looks very tastefull.

That's pretty cool...bob the tail and put some sport tires on there with some better wheels and I'd ride it :plus:

Very nice. Way better lookin' than the Breva 750 (which is still a sweet bike).

I'm a little dissapointed in it and rather than look retro, I actually think it looks dated. On the surface, it looks like a Breva 750 with some dressing. I'd have like to have seen the new generation engine/drivetrain on this bike, not the 350 come 500 come 750 that is at it's end as far as developement.

Maybe I need to see one in the flesh.

Dated looking? Maybe, but I _want_ one. :)

(hafta to keep my wife on her V65 in my mirror ya know)
