I posted this in the Cap board, so I thought for balance I should post it here too.
The T is brilliant. Fantastic engine. But I really like "adventure tourers" eg I have an R12OOGS.
So should I, or shouldn't I?
How do the two compare?

You already have an adventure tourer. Keep the T.

if you don't like the T sell it and get another bike but don't get an adventure tourer, you already have one...whats the point?

Only ONE of everything you want? How UnAmerican ;)

I'm not American but even if I were and living in the states where it is easier to have a variety of bikes in your garage I would still go for something different.. but thats me. Why don't you wait a bit, we might be seeing a 1200 capo or wait for the Ape hypermotard

The Cappy is a killer bike if you are looking for doing more touring. You won't be able to take it on a track, it won't turn the heads during the quick ride to the coffee shop, and it doesn't have quite as much excitment during the weekend canyon/forest runs..... buts its still a killer bike that will do 80% of what the Tuono can do (for most people).... but still has the comfort and convenience for touring.
I rode one a couple weeks ago.... I was very impressed.

What a strange post
But as you're asking, yes sell the T ASAP, but don't go for another one, buy a DUC instead - you won't be sorry.

True, after 36k miles, the Capo still is impressive, underrated, undervalued,..., just a real bargain!!! OTH the Tuono is just ...fun, fun, fun!!!
For ONE bike ONLY, the choice would be the ...Capo.
