Ive bought an Arrow end can off ebay from a shop, my RS is a 2001 Harada version, however the exhaust I was supplied quoted 95-98 on the box? is there any difference in this setep as I beleive arrow quote two end cans one for 95-98 and one for 99-07, so basically whats the difference?
Anyway Ive had a go at fitting it and it does go on but it was an extremly tight fit, I had to bend the studs in the exhaust to get the holes to line up. Also the bracket that bolts onto the foor hanger dosnt seem to fit right? ive looked in the gallery at some of the pics, and the hanger looks different to mine, I can only get my hanger on by having to clamp it go round the rubber spacer, I see in the pics on other bikes that they have the clamp meet on the outside of the hanger and bolt on one side? So have I got the right exhaust or not?

seems odd that Arrow make this to such a tight and shoddy fit?

any input would be great!

I think the arrow exhausts for the older bikes have 2 studs where as the newer exhaust has 3 studs? Not completely sure on that though. When I had a look at my arrow can on stock expansion chamber, the studs were bent inwards to fit. The stock can hanger won't fit the arrow properly as its smaller (narrower) than stock.

i believe arrow make 2 cans, 1 to fit the standard expansion chamber(further apart holes) and one to fit the arrow expansion chambers, but i could be wrong lol:D

i ahd that problem when putting my arrow endcan on the stock expansion chamber, i just drilled the wholes a lil and put a slightly countersunk them so the bolts on the can slip into place.

the same thing happend to me mate, same bike 2001 Harada version and the same end can that i got off an e bay shop, i just filed my holes to fit the can and the bike seems to run fine with it, it was a bit of an oh bugger moment when i first tried to fit it, my bikes never had that rubber mounting bit for the end can, but the last owner was a dick, i just attached the bracket staight to the pillion foot peg bracket, had no probs with it that way

cheers for the replys guys!

Its really annoying when you buy a part from a reputable manufacture and you still have to modify the damm thing to make it fit right... not impressed
