Aprilia Commercial on Speed

Seemed to be national (not local or regional) as the only reference was to apriliausa.com. First time I have ever seen an Aprilia commercial. Has this been out for a while?

there is one that they use for clearance sales of older year models. i've seen it for a couple years at least. it's terrible. i wish they'd let someone who works in advertising work on that (like me for instance :rollin: ). i'd love to do an ad or two for them. i hate their print ads too.

Aprilia's sure ain't lame compared to some of the truly embarrassing commercials seen lately: the Kawasaki "Big Top" promotion, Suzuki's horrific ad where some poor chump is being stalked by a yellow Katana in "Fatal Attraction" style. At least Aprilia is getting the word out and they show the bikes- simple enough. The Suzuki flagman one also makes me cringe...

The absolute WORST (gay-wise) are the Hayden bro's in the Joe Rocket ads...the one where Roger Lee is dreaming about all the chics. The dumbest f'ing ad I have ever seen.

Next they'll have 'em all sleeping in one bed like the Three Stooges. Woobwoobwoob! Nyaaah! World Class Bad is the advert for 2Fast 2Furious. Is that dialogue they're having? "Wha'sup?" "Wooooo! WAAAAHH!" Maybe they'll offer a subtitled version for intelligent people.

I do kinda like the current Suomi lid where the priest or whatever he is tries on the helmet and sees those racing "visions"- but the gal struttin' off I like the best! If I had a swing like that in my backyard I'd never go to work...

My favorite add lately is the Honda 600RR add. No talking or BS. Just a guy shredding on a guitar with the band playing along.

Honda had two good commercials last year. The one with Kurtis/Nicky/Miguel riding on closed track was good. I also liked the Honda commercial where they show clips from all forms of Honda racing initially and then the consumer products at the end with the caption "all this...makes all this possible" or something.

Aprilia had a pretty good print ad in '01 "Full Tuck, Full Speed, Full Wood"

"Full Wood" was supposed to refer to the wooden posts on the trophies, but it was interpreted as something else in the US and they had to stop running it.
