Hello,

What is the purpose of part #21 on this page:
http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=922

I do not have it on my race/track bike (runs fine) and I'm wondering if it's needed for my build project?

What info would that part transmit?
To the ECU?

Thanks in advance.

it allows the starter to operator. I suppose if you cut the switch and connect the 2 wires together you won't notice.

Thank you Fast4D.

I'll have to look and see how the race bike is configured then. It's electrical is slightly different than the loom I have on my build.

It prevents the starter from working if the bike is in gear and the clutch isn't pulled in. I removed it from mine too and almost fell down when I hit the starter and it almost took off from under me because it was in gear.

Do you need to short the circuit, or can you just remove it?

hey jed,
i believe you have to connect the wires to close the circuit for everything to work a ok.
