My Black/Red '01 Mille R was stolen between 1am--6am, Sat, Nov 1st from my locked garage in Las Colinas/Irving TX. It has an Akropovic titanium single side slip on, Evoluzione filter, carbon heel guards--and the rest of the goodies that the Mille R came with.
The VIN is ZDRPE0011S000020, with Texas plates 036J4V, tags until Apr 04.
The Irving police officer's guess (and mine) is that the thieves broke into my garage, tossed the bike into a truck, and ran.
If you see a Mille R or parts from a '01 Mille R (Ohlins forks, OZ wheels, carbon fiber parts, fairings, etc.) show up for sale--particularly in N. Texas or online, please let me know. My name is Karl at (972) 740-4455.
My only saving grace is that I have a replacement policy by Progressive. Here's hoping that I get a quick resolution to this matter so I can get back on 2 wheels soon!!
