Ok guys, who has already replaced their Tuono mirrors and is willing to sell me their originals (both)?
I ordered a new right side, but it will probably be '04 before the bastids ship the damn thing from Italy. Just PM me......

They sell aftermarket mirrors? Are they wider/bigger? If so, lemme know where to buy.

Rustie,
I got a pristine pair I can ship ya.
Rather than talk about cost, have you got any bits you've taken off your R you want to trade?

Rustie,
What happened to your mirror? I hope you didn't drop your bike.
I've got my mirrors kicking around somewhere. If you don't find another pair by next week, I'll try to find mine.
BTW, on your recommendation, I just picked up the LA Sport Chock that you mentioned a while back. I'm taking it to the track tomorrow and it should be a great help.

Rustie,
I can't believe I missed that story! (been busy at work lately)
I'm glad that you're OK and that no one ended up in the hospital or in jail. Damn.
Anyway, also glad that the bike received minimal damage.
I just emailed you a picture of my current mirrors. I didn't feel like putting them up right now. (I'm too tired; I just got beat up at American Supercamp yesterday and today trying to learn how to slide the back tire better.)

theImmoralist,
When you're not so tired, I'd also love to see what mirrors you purchase (or at least the brand and where I could find 'em). Are they bigger than stock? I feel like I have no mirrors, they're tiny!

Immoralist went with Rizoma mirrors:
www.rizoma.com/inglese/ar...li=Mirrors (http://www.rizoma.com/inglese/articoli_uni.cfm?CategoriaUniversali=Mirrors)
.......and I think they are the "CIRCUIT 851"......right?
But, they are smaller, not larger......

I've got the Circuit 998 mirrors by Rizoma. They look very cool, but they aren't much use for seeing behind you. Way smaller than the stock ones.

I also had the Roadracing Pista mirrors which were OK but not as cool as the Rizoma ones. They come in a larger size which looks pretty good too.

I actually found the stock ones to be very functional; I just didn't like the looks.

i'm finding the stock mirrors work pretty well actually. better than any of my other sporty bikes. the only other mirrors that worked as well were on a cruiser, which makes sense.
I have been waiting for the Pista's to come in for 3 months. Fast by Ferrachi is the only dealer in business in the US that imports them. Wanting a pair in Gold but still waiting.

Hey.......
Went to Ferracci's site and searched on "Pista" with no results. Are you sure they have these?
Yeah, if you go to the Roadracing site, they show Ferrachi and one other company as the importers to North America. The other company I believe has folded up. Search under the Monster section of the Ferrachi site. They are made for the Monster, but will bolt right up to the Tuono.
