Hi my name is Wahyu,I about to buy 2003 Aprillia RSV R Mille,I just wondering,is it normal the Rpm goes to 6000 Rpm only when I turn the key to ON Position(before I Turn the engine On),is it Aprillia Character?Thank you to have my Questions Answered :bond:

The tach will "redline" at 6000 RPM as the factory default. This happens anytime the battery is disconnected. The shift light will come on when the engine is reved over 6000 RPM also. If you check the "tech tips" link at the very top of the page (under the AF1 banner) you'll find all the information you need........sean

PS: the procedure for reseting all the computer display values is the same for all the early bikes including the Futura and Falco

As stated, default factory redline is 6k rpms. This is during breakin period. You can manually set it to the desired redline after breakin.

But think you're asking does the tach needle move when turning the key, yes, it's supposed to do that everytime the key is switched on and will go to whatever redline you have set.

If there is anyone that can help me please!? When I pull of in 1st gear my chain on my bike jumps (as soon as the power kicks in) and in 2nd gear. I did some settings on the nut (on the swing arm,left and right) but it still jumps.:bangwall:
