Well, I have had my Tuono for 6 months now and have 2,000 miles on it. It is undeniably the most fun I have had on a bike--well, riding on a bike, but we won't go into that. I have made a few mods such as the evo air box, Aprilia Ti slip on, integrated signals, etc; but the best of all mods was cutting the bottom off the fill sleeve on the bike. Filling up is much quicker and the splash and spill routine is gone. Forget all the rest of the stuff, if you have no cash, borrow a hex key and a fine saw blade and do yourself a favor. Just be careful not to cut off the little nub that latches the cover.

Glad to hear that you are satisfied with your bike. My Tuono R has only 120 mls on it so I am taking it easy, for now! I am curious to know what filling sleeve you are talking about. I assume to fill up with oil? I will be doing this my-self as well.
Also, can you show me a picture of the blinker mod you made. I am curious where they would fit since there is so little space.
Thanks in advance for your tip.

I actually like the sleeve. I'm guessing you're talking about the gas tank?

Yes, I am talking about the nozzle restrictor under the fuel cap. This genius invention keeps you from seeing how full your tank is as you are filling. So the filling method is to stick the nozzle in there and use the automatic shut off to get the rough fill level--then lifting the nozzle clear of the restrictor you ease in the rest of the gas--it is a real pain. With the restrictor cut off, you just fill it up and drive away.
I modified by rear blinkers using a tail light integrator and the front lights using the kit you can buy on this site that changes the high beams into turn signals. I then put a HID headlight on for plenty of forward lighting.
