While on the topic of RPM's: How low an rpm will you let your motor pull you from in traffic? / What rpm do you run in traffic?
(Clutch fully engaged. No hard throttle.)

Love the throbbing sound at 2,500 RPM's  , but I also like the wail that kincks in about 6,000 RPM's.

I usually run between 4 and 6k rpm.. In tight canyon twisties I range from 3k to 8k - usually in 2nd gear only.

so what's with all this 2 and 3k stuff?

Oh crap, I misread the question. THat doesn't bode well fo rmy final exam tomorrow :|

I thought you were askingn what rpms I blipped it up to to pull away from a _stop_. Cruising around in traffic I usually keep her between 4 and 6 K. 2500 (my poll choice) is just where I'll let the clutch out...
