One of the things I don't like on my black 2006 Strada is the silver plastic heel guards, they stand out too much I think. I do like the carbon Akro ones but at £57 each they are not that cheap. I have just noticed that on some of the photos of 2007 pegaso models have black plastic heel guards. Can anyone on here confirm if they have seen them on 07 models?
Panda can you find out if the black plastic heel guards are available and how much they would be?

07 Trail / Strada "Black" AP8184426 and AP8184427 but they're not available yet and there's no prices yet - the grey ones are coming up at £42.42 plus VAT though! You'll also need some 8150450 star washers (6 if I remember rightly) to hold the black inserts on.
There are new "PM" model codes for "Police Municpal" are on too - so you might see coppers on white Pegs in your local city sometime!

That makes the carbon ones seems worth it, I thought they may have been a bit cheaper, oh well I'll stick with my silver ones for now they don't bother me that much.
Might join the Police if they are getting strada's, then I can ride one all day! :kidding:

On another not (sorry) ,,,,is it true that the 07 Strada comes only in silver and orange/yellow?
I wanted a black one but the dealer said I could have only one of the above...

Sprayed mine satin black, £4.99 for a large can and took 30 minutes total.
Star washers can be reused.

Yes, at one point they were only going to bring Factory and Trail models to the UK so there wouldn't be any silver ones either.

I had considered spraying them aswell, think this is probably the best option for now.

Why not give it a try. The standard ones are only painted as well and their are some nice black/grey/titanium colours available. Be sure to fully rub it down with fine emery-paper
