problem with mirrors

I find the mirrors on the RSV to be quite small almost useless, I just can't angle them in anyway to make them work. I have to lean to one side to see behind me, this just doesn't seem very safe to me. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if you have what was your solution.

Guess you've never ridden a 916/996/8, eh? For what it's worth, the Mille mirrors are fabulous in comparison. Even tho I'm small/short, I still have to shift myself around a bit to be able to see something other than my elbows no matter how I have my mirrors adjusted. You could always try a bar end mirror, but in my experience, they still give a better view of the elbows than anything else. Only other thing I can think of is a rear facing video camera and dash display like on the prototype MH900e.... :p
