Have any of you done a dyno test that has compared these.
Im told the shorter "Evo" stacks make a little more top end Hp, but dont lose anything in midrange or low down.
Whats been your experiences? I imagine you'd lose midrange but could be wrong?

I have them, installed them and they look cool and are very high quality. I wonder about the 54mm stacks on my 51mm TBs but what the heck I'm just in it for kicks.

I'm inltalling mine next week with HiPo kit so I don't know from personal experience. Howeve, I've read that unless you have the 54 t/b's, you will loose midrange. But once again, I read this on the rsvr.net forum. Good luck.:)

Naw, I had the Evo 54mm stacks on my 51 T/B's before being modded to 54's and felt absolutely no difference at all. You are talking about such an almost insignificant differential that it would barely be noticed on a dyno (A/B'ing stock to Evo stacks on a 51mm T/B). I just did it for the convenience since I knew I was eventually going to mod the T/B's anyway.
If I remember correctly, Ken did test that config and could not find any degradation either......

We have tested the true 51mm "sp" stacks, the evo stacks (54mm) and the stockers. The short stacks are good for about .5-1bhp on the very top in either 51 or 54mm without a loss anywhere else. Nothing huge here, but not too many $$$ for a small gain.
