ok, i need 2 more bits on my bike till it is fully safe, it will pass mot no probs but it needs 2 more bits 2 make her road legal and safer!
1, speedo drive @ £39.50, will fit upto a 2003 and mine is a 2001...
2, full set of continental conti-force tyres @ £130
are these good prices and will the speedo drive fit?!

1, can get them cheaper, try ebay, i got a brand new one from my local non aprilia bike shop for £28
2, i have continental Sport attacks, never had a problem, look great aswell, however never tried those ones, good price though

its all from ebay! the speedo drive is brand new tho, bit pricey but hey! hopef it wont go again
Speedo drive from dealers costs £40 anyway.

ok, so im guessing that the tyres are a good deal but the speedo drive isnt realy, will it fit tho? i was told they changed them at some point!

bit more pricey but some avon vipers for £170? or dunlop d207's for £150???
Dunlop Sportmax D207/D208 are shit imo.

As to the speedo, the only difference if i remember right was the Change from analogue Dials to Digital, which also meant the change in the Reading method. Analogue uses the Mechanical Drive down on the Wheel, where i'm not sure about the Digi Set-up, perhaps Electrical Pulses or something.
2001 is Digital i think and the 03 Definatly is, so yes, they should be compatible.
my 207s seam fine to me, had battleaxes on the older bike and they keep slipping out, shocks was wank on it tho!!

The GP shape RS125's all use the same speedo drive. They are cable driven not digital.

well tbh im nt sure mine is a 2001! its a y reg... it said 200 on the hpi i think

they dont, 2003 onwards uses a newer version.
