Has anybody got any idea of the difference of total height between a pirelli diablo 180 and 190.
I ask because I'm trying to set the suspension up on my bike at the moment and it's got a 190 which i have never used. The 190 looks as if it's not as high as the 180 because the profile looks a lot flatter.
Not sure if I like it or not.The pro's are it gives loads of grip out of corners but it does seem to slow the steering a bit.

Don't panic I've worked it out
180/55 tyre, so 55% of 180 is 99mm high
190/50 tyre,so 50% of 190 is 95mm high.
So yes the 180 will steer quicker as the bike will sit 4mm higher

You can adjust the shock length on the Ohlins rear by 12mm max by the lock nut at the bottom of the unit if you need to quicken up the steering abit or lower it to slow it down .

Yes it will work but if your using a 16/44 sprocket set up check the clearance on your rear hugger. I didn't and now have a nice vent worn into mine :bangwall:

Yes thanks but I know that:) The shock is fully extended and the front is at the moment is 3 rings.
I justed wanted to set thinks up without factoring the tyre as I will swap that out for a 180 when it's worn.
Just getting the suspension set up nice at the moment and then i'll decide how fast I want it to steer.
Well I'm not on 16/44 at the moment as the chain is to short.I'll get a few miles on it and then swap over.
