Has anyone done it?
It looks like you could fab up a simple bracket that would raise the fairing/instrument cluster.
just tossing around ideas.
I like the Tuono, but the instruments are a little "low and away" compared to my Mille. And it doesnt look like the fairing would give much wind protection.
Dont know if the wiring harness would have enough slack in it, or would allow the move.
just thinking outloud...

Well, I guess no one has done it.
Hmm, might look into ways to fit a Tuono instrument cluster to my Mille, and then run the Tuono bars and raisers. Or just raise the Mille top fairing so that they Tuono bars will clear.
I've got Heli bars on the Mille now, and they juuuuuuuust about hit the fairing (juuuuuust a little taller and they would).
Looking to make the Mille more comfy for longer rides, but still keep the fun factor at the track.

I was under the impression that the Mille and Tuono instrument cluster are one and the same. I think the placement is fine for a sport riding position as on the Mille with it's clip-on bars, but it takes a while to get use to looking down (way down!) to check the instruments on the Tuono. It is especially noticable to me, as I am used to the instrument cluster being up much higher (as on an FZ1).

Thats just it.....
I want to convert my Mille to Tuono style bars and triple clamps.. WITHOUT having the sell the Mille and buy a Tuono.
OR, if I did buy a Tuono (or a Tuono cluster) I would want to raise them up, as they are too low for me.
either way, the cluster/top fairing needs to be raised. Either to clear the higher Tuono bars (installed on the Mille) or just to get them more up into the field of view (on the Tuono).
the mounting stay on my 2001 Mille and the 2003 Tuono are different. Dont know attachment points, but the Mille's stay is tubular and Tuono's is box shaped.
