999 prices are gonna come way down when the 1098 hits the stores, I'm thinking of getting a 999 in a few.

The rest of the world gets this color but in the US you can only get red or black. My German Duc dealer was able to get a US spec bike in the above color.

Hey Army Scope Jockey - why did we taxpayers see fit to buy you a new bike? How can I get in on that?

You can sit in the desert with your thumb up your ass for 6 mos with the ate up 1st Armor Division. That's about an extra 14K in tax free money.

As for the ST4S, they have been dropped and all you can get in the US is the ST3 or ST3S. I believe the rest of the world can still get the St4S.

last i looked i saw a gray st whatever on the floor, don't have much interest in that style of bike to look at the actual lettering/numbers on it anyway

i guess its a nice bike and all, its just not sportbike enough for me or what i would look for in a bike

The charcoal w/red wheels Senna paint scheme has been available on just about every Ducati model - on different years. When I was shopping for a Monster 1000ds those were the only colors I wanted.

Easy brother, he was just expressing an opinion.

By the way, farva03, why did you take a picture of you motorcycle in a mining pit?

its a close up of the bike. i was about a foot off the ground. the rough stuff on the right are the remains of a grinded up stump. sadly it is my front yard.

on a side note, anyone else notice the prices of the 999r's are comin down, down.....down.

Yes there is a standard 999 for sale local at a dealer for 10k. They are dropping fast.
