Hello, Long time listner etc etc.
Just bought myself a 2000 w reg,24000 km, rs125 full power project bike.
Got her for £600 of a mate who crashed it, usual checks have been carried out on frame, forks etc and all seems to be straight.
He managed a lowside at 20mph, simple mistake of over cooking it in the wet :bangwall:
I'm probably going to be spending about £500 ish to get it back up to a reasonable condition.
Few mods maybe aswell, only visual. But maybe just an arrows end can? and clip ons
Pics follow tomorrow.......

Only done one for now as others have number plate in and cant b arsed to edit them...
The only thing that concerns me is when i rev it the whole bike vibrates, and i mean VIBRATES.As in the whole bike moves across the garage. unless i put my foot against the side stand to stop it..
Any ideas?
Cheers

balance shaft?
runs from a gear on the clutch side to keep down on vibrations, its like a little offset weight that spins with the crank

Been a while i know, but little progress has been made since having to buy a car and do driving lessons.
All i have done up to date is ride it for 1 mounth clean bike and strip fairings.
Bought a few items aswell ready to be fitted,
Front fairing/ clock bracket
Ebc HH Front and rear brake pads
Ebc Heavy duty clutch and springs
Plastic cogs behind clutch
Front fairing V piece
Chain and sprokets
New front and rear dunlops
whole engine gasket set
All i can think off at the moment,
Stuff to be done -
The top end
Jl stainless exhuast
Speedo drive
Cush drive
Wavy front and rear discs
New left and right fairings
Repair front nose cone
Buy solo seat
Thats it really - A few pics
Few questions - Does a aprilia rsv rear disc fit straight onto my bike? ( 5 spoke wheels)
Been looking for correct info but cant find it. a place to buy uprated jets and the correct jetting for a standard bike with a "race" exhuast.
Thanks
