Aprilia Taureg

Have got an Aprilia Taureg 125cc which is sounding rather poorly. Is there an alternative engine from another model that will fit, should the engine be beyond economical repair?

Yeah im pretty sure they have teh same engine as the aprilia rs & rx

Many thanks for reply. Does any RS or RX engine fit or does it have to an engine from similar year bike? I`ve seen some RS 125 bikes advertised which quote Rotax 123 engine and another stating 122 unit - any ideas which would be suitable for Taureg and how do you tell difference?

Well clean your PV blade. And get a compression test done. Ether a motorbike shop can do it or you can by the kit for it and come back to use. BUt replay on the RS125 forum. we can help you better there.
